Nautical Flair

Every summertime Mykonos rightfully keeps up with its reputation as a trend setter by unveiling eye catching resorts. Such is the brand-new Mykonos Riviera, a nautical themed boutique resort alternating blues and whites, part of the Small Luxury Hotels, stylishly designed by talented London based Maria Vafiades, of Greek origin and passionate about this jet-setters island.  A striking feature is the 200 sqm glass bottom infinity pool, adorning the resorts lobby ceiling, with heated sea water, rightfully compensating for the beach lovers. LAFS, a Lebanese restaurant, with a Mediterranean twist, proposes signature dishes by Greg Malouf, a Michelin awarded Chef, offering tantalising flavours with the backdrop of the Aegean and Tourlos Marina.  A collection of whitewashed village houses, piled up on a slopping rocky hilltop mimicking a village setting, with the most contemporary luxurious fittings, an ideal location by downtown frequented Hora and yet away from the masses flooding the island, is a brilliant alternative and can be ideally combined with sailing to nearby islands.
